Students from around the world choose American University (AU) in Washington, D.C., as a study abroad destination.

The Abroad at AU program is open to undergraduate students who plan to study for a year or a semester in the capital of the United States. Our program helps create a truly global campus where hundreds of students from diverse cultures and societies interact with American students in the U.S. capital, learning from each other and enriching each others’ experiences.
